The Lakers and Celtics are now set to renew their legendary rivalry in the NBA Finals. One night after the Celtics eliminated the Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference finals, L.A. took out the Phoenix Suns in the West to set up the latest chapter between the teams.
It's amazing how one game can change the complexion of a series. After being blown out in game 3 of the Easter Conference Finals, the Orlando Magic came alive in game 4.
“They have a great bench,” Bryant said, and the Phoenix Suns just tied the Western Conference Finals 2-2 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Boston Celtics Vs. Los Angeles Lakers championship rivalry has spanned 62 years. the Celtics-Lakers rivalry lost its shine when Magic Johnson and Larry Bird retired in the early 1990's and with the emergence of Michael Jordan and his Bulls, but the Celtics-Lakers rivalry was reborn in 2008 NBA Finals since 1987.

Boston holds a 3-2 lead in that same round against the Cleveland Cavaliers. But Garnett’s right knee is healthy again and he’s playing some of his best basketball of the season. His offense has picked up and on Tuesday night he directed a defense that shut down LeBron James in a 120-88 rout in Cleveland.
It's a game 6 do or die for the Cleveland Cavaliers, can Garnett shutdown Lebron James once again to take the Celtics into the Eastern Conference Finals or will Lebron summon up the will to force the series to a game 7?
GAME 5 RECAP:

In the first half, the Cavs did a brilliant job on Rondo, who didn’t score his first points until the 9:47 mark of the third quarter. But by then, the Celtics had opened their double-digit lead and with James misfiring from the outside, Cleveland dug theirselves a hole they couldn't climb out of.
Can Lebron and company take game 6 or will they suffer another dismal postseason?
The Phoenix Suns finally beat their 'old' nemesis, the San Antonio Spurs, will they have enough to defeat the Lakers who are bigger and better than the Spurs... plus, they have Kobe.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are fighting out an even series against a so-called 'old' Boston Celtics. It'll be a big blow to Lebron and co. if he loses this series. But even if they do beat the Celtics, last year, the Orlando Magic beat Lebron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers senseless. Now, they've got a potent go-to guy in a rejuvenated Vince Carter and the the Cavs added a prodding center in Shaquille O'neal.
Is another Lakers-Magic Finals in the making?
