The Boston Celtics Vs. Los Angeles Lakers championship rivalry has spanned 62 years. the Celtics-Lakers rivalry lost its shine when Magic Johnson and Larry Bird retired in the early 1990's and with the emergence of Michael Jordan and his Bulls,but the Celtics-Lakers rivalry was reborn in 2008 NBA Finals since 1987.
The Boston Celtics and the Lost Angeles Lakers are again bound for a collision course in this 2010 NBA Finals. But it may be put on hold as the Phoenix Suns are putting up a fight. Amare Stoudemire came alive for the Suns in game 3 of the Western Conference's Lakers vs. Suns Finals. Stoudemire attacked the Lakers relentlessly and matched his career playoff high with 42 points along with 11 rebounds. The Phoenix Suns can tie the series on Tuesday at home.
The Orlando Magic also kept their season alive by beating the Boston Celtics in overtime 96-92. Clark Kent, put on his cape and scored 32 points to lead the Magic to their first win in the Eastern Conference's Magic Vs. Celtics Finals.
It may not matter though, as both the Lakers and Celtics know how to get out of a rut and may see each other in the NBA Finals sooner than later.
