Redemption as Lakers take 3-2 Lead

Bang! Bang! Bang! Three straight triples by Kobe Bryant and it was all the cushion the Los Angeles Lakers needed to win game 5 of the Los Angeles Lakers - Phoenix Suns Western Conference Finals--that plus Derek Fisher's championship uncanny shooting timing and a right place and right time shot by Ron Artest. Every time the Phoenix Suns came close, big shot after big shot came Derek Fisher.

Steve Nash also came answering back, in his best shooting game of the series, hitting shot for shot always closing in on the Lakers lead. The Suns bench also came alive in the fourth quarter, but it was not to be this time as they came short 103-101.

101-101 and 3.5 seconds remaining. Ron Artest more than made up for his earlier blunder by making the biggest play of the game by hitting the follow up after a Kobe Bryant missed heave.

A game almost stolen by the Phoenix Suns, but talk about redemption as the Los Angeles Lakers take a 3-2 lead against the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Western Conference Finals
