Orlando Magic Come Alive

It's amazing how one game can change the complexion of a series. After being blown out in game 3 of the Easter Conference Finals, the Orlando Magic came alive in game 4.

It's game 5, Jameer Nelson's playmaking ang shooting, Rashard Lewis' huge fourth quarter, and the injuries to the Celtics bench, albeit key, players and the ejection of their main center keyed the Orlando Majic's back-to-back win in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals 113-92.

Kendrick Perkins got ejected and won't be playing in Game 6. Glen Davis got knocked out ala-Manny Pacquiao by an accidental elbow from Superman Dwight Howard, while Marquis Daniels fell on the floor trying to go up against the might Gortat and the Boston Celtics fell flat on their faces. They still lead the series 3-2, but if Nelson keeps up his gutsy plays and shooting and Dwight Howard with his monstrous presence and making free-throws, plus a healthy Rashard Lewis picking up his stride, there may be a game 7 for the Celtics-Magic Eastern Conference Finals.

What was thought to be a decided series has now become interesting. But will the Orlando Magic be just content in winning some games to avoid the embarrasment of a sweep or will they have the heart to gut it out to win a supposedly impossible series?

Game 6 on Friday at Boston.
